As the entire country soaked up the four-day Platinum Jubilee weekend, churches were at the centre of many of the celebrations taking place at the heart of communities. They welcomed people of all ages to street parties, screenings of the official events, community fun days and afternoon teas – and many of them took the opportunity to highlight our Christian Queen’s life of faith-inspired service.

Events ranged from whole-church efforts to individuals organising street parties.
